C & K Ventures announces domain registration for the new 4H4ME.com web site (not active yet) which will be part of the new 4HWebPlus program. Watch for this exciting new addition to 4HPlus! With 4HWebPlus, all of your old member registration, club and project assignment work, and ES237 end of year data processing will simply go away! Stay tuned.

09/12/01 Welcome Nebraska!

Please join us in welcoming the state of Nebraska as the newest user of 4HPlus! Nebraska has also purchased our Fairplus! program for use at their county fairs and to process the 4H aspect of the NE State fair.

08/15/01 Contracts for new gas and oil field monitoring software

We have entered into contracts with a firm out of Denver Colorado (Redstone Resources of Wyoming) to develope a data base system (with very easy user access) for all data needed to monitor the production of large multi well gas and oil fields. This will be very interesting work. I am hearing 100's of terms I have never heard before. The system will need to have data distribution features for the collected data so the various owners of the wells can have production figures released to them. It gets complicated as the first 400 feet of a well can be owned by one person while the next 500 feet is owned by another, etc. The system involves 100's and 100's of meters. It will be a very large data base with up to 2000 new records being entered every month. I am looking forward to a project with private enterprise.

10/09/01  New Web Pages.

It is our pleasure to present the new web pages. This has been a lot of work and during the process I was thrown several curves, such as the parent company of my ISP (Internet service provider) going out of business and thus waiting for an assignment to a server that could process ASP (active server pages) code.   Soon, these web pages will be hosted on our own in house server and both web page and Email service should improve.

C & K Ventures has been offered a contract to write the Open Class and FFA sections for the State Fair side of our FairPlus! software.  This will be a major project but will leave us with a fair software system that will cover every base starting at county going through state fair.  With this contract, we now have four projects open.   Once again, we want to thank everyone for their support.
